Job search still isn't going well. The Trait d'Union Employment Centre gave me a list of companies that might be hiring, but I've looked through most of their websites and haven't found anything yet. Besides, most of them are located in Somewhere-French, Quebec, where I totally won't go. If I can't get a job on this island, I'm getting out of this province. Let's face it, I'm english. It's good to have a second language and all, but I want to be in an english place. That's just the way it is.

Finally got some good action in RP with Sail and NE. Yay! Been waiting for that, so I was happy. I don't mind the long descriptions so much as long as Risk actually gets included in what's going on.

I feel a bit bad because I can't seem to properly figure out where to go next in Ly's RP. Bleh! All these politics to set up before I can properly get going. Creating a planet at war is harder than I thought ^_~.

Couldn't stand it any more, and I finally turned on the baseboard heater in here. To try and keep any forgetful incidents from reoccurring, I stuck a reminder to myself to turn off the heater on the printer. When I turn that off, I'll turn off the heater too. I hope.

Had to move those boxes away from the heater to turn it on, and now I guess my leg room gets truncated for the duration of the winter. I've already banged my knee twice. I wish there was somewhere else I could put these...hm...

Less than a month 'til I go I vist Mellie! Woo hoo! Gotta remember to try on my skirt, cause if that doesn't fit, I'm gonna need it altered or get a new outfit to wear to the wedding. Speaking of new outfits, I finally managed to get two new pairs of jeans after trying on nearly every pair in the store. I still have to buy them from Addition-Elle >_<, but at least this time they were on sale...one for $70, and the other ($60) was half-off. I also got a plain long-sleeve red top and a black one to wear under T-shirts. They still didn't have any more white ones in XL! Foo. The jeans aren't as flared as I wanted, but they don't seem to make them very flared any more. And they're not as tight either, which I guess is the style now, except that I don't like that much. Still, one of the pairs is blue and looks okay even if it is a bit wider-legged (looks good with T-shirt-lover-long-sleeve-shirt), and the other pair (black) is the stretchy kind. Boy, I look thin in those ^_^!

I also went to the Halloween store looking for devil horns. Since this Sunday it's that haunted house thingy at the arena, I thought maybe I'd sorta dress the part. So I'm gonna wear my fishnet-sleeved top with the red skull-and-crossbones on the front, the matching red and lack wide-leg pants, and then put on the devil horns as well as more black eye makeup than usual (he he). I really wanted small horns on a headband (not the kind that goes over your forehead), and I was hoping to get black ones, but they had like zero choice, and I ended up having to get red ones that look just too big. Foo! I also bought a tail to stick onto my belt at the back, but I'm not sure if I'll wear that yet. I wanted black horns, dammit! I had exactly the picture in my head of what I wanted. *sigh* I'm also thinking that maybe I should make a Halloween CD that's more fit for public consumption...as in, one that doesn't have Rob Zombie and Insane Clown Posse on it. It's so hard to find songs, though!

The fic hasn't been going anywhere, and the drawing muse has left me. *raises glass* Here's to their speedy return! I hope.

Man, I'm getting in the Halloween mood, but I still don't have any plans for it. Patty said I could go with her and Justin to Cornwall (that's their moving day), but they're leaving in the morning, and I really should spend at least part of the day at home. I wish I could do something actually Halloweeny, though. I gotta call Marie-Eve and see if she's free. Probably not, but it would be so cool if I could spend Halloween at her place, seeing as how it's already haunted...

Not to mention that I haven't seen or heard from M-E in quite a while now. It kinda sucks.

Lots of things suck. Like the fact that David is away this weekend or something (he was last week, too), so I'm alone at skating again. I hate that! Especially since this haunted house thing usually draws more people. Grr.

Kel's off in Bancroft this weekend. She was up til I don't know when last night finishing her packing. I think I feel asleep with the light on O_o.

Got new bulbs for both my neato flashlight and my fish lamp, so all is well. Let there be light, and there was light. And revolving fish. ^_^

I don't know about this "Zombie Jamboree" song. It's so happy-sounding. And then there's that line about the World Trades. I don't know if I really want to put it on this Halloween mix...

This heater is stinky, I guess since it's the first time it's been turned on in months. I hate that smell of something burning >_<.

Stupid cramps. I think I forgot to add that to my Pet Peeves list over at GAFF. There are quite a few things I think I forgot to add, but other people had already listed them.

Rant: I could have added how Transformers:Armada ruins TFs. I've been watching bits and peices lately because Unicron is supposed to be in it. He's around, but not completely awake yet, it seems. In the meantime, they've made Starscream into some sort of honourable martyr. Wha?? Geez, if you're gonna make a new character, just give it a whole new name! Starscream was the biggest traitor and guy with the least honour around. This is just stupid. Ah, anime remakes...kill 'em. I thought since Armada seemed to have let up on the "gotta catch 'em all" plotline, it might have gotten better. I mean, Unicron! But no such luck, it's still stupid.
