Been a while again

Booyeah! Not only did I get this result on the first try, but I answered the questions as truthfully as I could, too ^_^. Maybe Janos and I are just destined to be soul mates! He he ^_^
So back to other things. I created an account on Deviantart and posted up all my drawings that I thought were kinda okay to show the world, and now I'm waiting for the comments to roll in ^_^. I also joined the legacyofkainclan there and posted up my chibiJanos stuff--so much better to be a part of that, because you get a lot more exposure. My Meanie Kain drawing has already been added to someone's favourites! That reminds me, I need to expand my Favourites collection, since I've only got the tip of the iceberg in there. So many pics to look through again!
So let's see, what else has been going on...well, I never wrote the hockey news for the last game. Just didn't feel like it, and not like there was anything good to say. We lost 3-0, and nearly everyone showed up, which meant that we had 3 forward lines--each with a center who could do stuff and two wingers who can't skate well. And not only do these wingers not skate well, but they also can't seem to tell when to come off. We changed and went through all three centers while the same set of wingers were out there, and nobody could get them to come off because there was no whistle! Also, near the end of the game we wanted to try a power play so we could try to get a goal, but we still couldn't get the damn rookies off the ice so we could do it! Abby darn well better have said something to them, because I was annoyed and Kel was outright pissed after the game (read: hostile). She got really tired of not being able to do anything a) because she had no help, and b) because she couldn't get on the ice to do it since the rookies wouldn't change up! We hope from now on that if anyone misses a game, it's a rookie. We've got too many players and far too many rookies. I try to be fair and think fairly about this, but even I have my limits. Winning isn't everything, and I don't mind losing if the other team is simply better, but I want my team to be at its best.
Anyway, we don't have another game until the 27th. Hopefully the rookies will have this drilled into them before then. I think we might have to make a really weak forward line just so we can have one stronger one. Maybe put Sandy as a third-line center and put me as a winger with Kel or Olivia as center. We've been trying to even out the skill levels of the lines, but that doesn't appear to be working. Time to try something new. I guess we'll see how the coach feels about it.
Didy lost his job O_o. This is bad. I hope he finds another one soon, because things must be pretty tight there now. I know it sucks for me to not have a job in the first place, but it must be way worse to be out with your own apartment and bills and not have the money coming in. Unemployment insurance gives you some, but it takes a bit of time to kick in, and it's never as much as the job pays you...
My job hunt is...well, it's not. I need to get off my ass and get looking, as Ma reminds me every day...
I finally managed to get that first scene where Risk meets Sigma done. About time! Man, it was difficult to get that right! And it only gets harder from here on out, now that I'm about to realy start getting into the conspiracy stuff. But one more scene (a couple more pages) and I'll have enough to post up this chapter at www.fanfiction.net. Yay! That'll push my fic to the front again, and hopefully get me more reviews. Geez, I can't wait forever to get Heywood's review. How long has he been promising to give me one? The thing is, I really want his review because it'll be honest and critical and not just another squeal (plus, he hasn't known me forever).
And that reminds me, I'm a little sad because I wasn't included in the boardfic Shadeshark wrote at GAFF. I guess it's my own fault because I don't contribute enough to the badfic heap. I need to start doing more of that. In fact, there's a LoK chatfic that I saw last time I was there. Completely moronic and unfunny. I think I'll post it up at GAFF.

On the RP front, not much going on in the one with Sail and NE because we can't seem to get our schedules straightened out! As soon as the last person arrives, someone else has to go...then once we start playing it's usually about 45 mins before I have to get off. Augh! I can't stand it! Must...advance...story!
Things are going a bit better in the one with Ly. The story with Jynx as a child kinda hit a dead end, and a new plotline has sprung up with her as a young adult. Enter Daring, the son of Damask, one of Risk's sworn enemies...oh, the Romeo&Juliet possibilities! And not only that, I'm also setting up for war on Cybertron, and everything to be dependent on what Daring and Jynx do. I'm kinda evil, but it's fun! I'm trying to set up a wide-ranging plotline so that we won't run out of ideas too quickly. And if I do, I can just ask Liz, who's taken an interest in Daring's story and would like to see it written. Ain't gonna happen, but I can make a good RP out of it, I think ^_^.
What else in RL...well, Thanksgiving came and went with turkey and stuffing, as it does every year. At least we get to have Granny over ^_^. I'm getting worried about her, though...she seems to be slowing down. I went to pick her up this time, and by the time she walks from her apartment to the elevator she's out of breath and has to sit down. Ma says it's true, she is getting tired more, and she thinks it's possible that Granny might be ready to go. God, I hope not...I mean, I see it and I understand it, but Granny is the most perfect person on this planet (to me), and I can't imagine her not being there. But I really and truly hope that when she does go, it's at home in her sleep, because she could never go to a nursing home. Ever.
Okay, let's not make myself sad thinking about stuff like that. I love Granny. She rocks. She still makes the funny comments that brighten us all up. ^_^
Got Didy to help me put up my water picture while he was over, finally. I kind of needed another funky lamp right now because my fishy lamp bulb burnt out. Gotta go get another bulb for that. In the meantime, I can just watch the falls in the water picture...so cool...
Eee he he! I just have to mention for any TF fans that if you have the chance, look up "transformers, Beavis" on Kazaa. "Galvatron versus Ultra Beavis" is a short little scene from the movie that's been dubbed over and it's hilarious!
And speaking of dubbed, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge is still the funniest thing on TV. Anyone with American cable who picks up the new Spike channel, watch this show! I haven't laughed so hard since MST3K!

Didy got the Lion King DVD, which prompted a viewing complete with MSTing by us as we watched.

...and various other lines that I just can't remember, involving discussion about the probably incestuous Simba/Nala relationship. Oh, and the new song they put in? Crap. Very smart editors, to cut that. *pats them*
The multilanguage reel is always pretty amusing. Pretty good how no matter what language it's in, they've found voices that sound almost exactly like the originals. But oh, man, listening to Timon's hula song in Italian was just insane! So many syllables, so little space for them!
Okay, that's about all I can think of for now...gonna post that fic and a couple of others at GAFF, then go and find dinner. I seem to be starving.
