Since we're not allowed to change our names in Quebec once we're married, not even that changes. I'm not Mrs [his last name] on any legal document anywhere, but it's not right to be Mrs [my last name] either.
There's a certain romantic notion attached to waiting, but IMO it's just not very realistic. And who wants the added pressure of the wedding night being your first night anyway? That certainly would have sucked for us, because we were both too exhausted to do anything about it! XD
